Dr. Justin is a residency-trained, board-certified emergency physician with over 25 years experience as both a physician and a director. In 1986 Dr. Justin was certified as a Diplomate by the American Board of Emergency Medicine and became a Fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians. He spearheaded a number of key initiatives to improve pre-hospital emergency care in New Jersey, including the use of automatic external defibrillators (AEDs) by first providers, laryngeal mask airway by Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs), BiPaP for treating respiratory distress by paramedics, EMT-1, rapid sequence intubation by paramedics, and pre-hospital thrombolytic treatment of heart attacks. In 2004, his peers in New Jersey elected him the American College Emergency Physician EMS Doctor of the Year. For many years he was Medical Director for the First Aid Council of New Jersey.

Dr. Justin holds a Bachelor's degree from Harvard University and a Doctorate of Medicine from Boston University in Boston, Massachusetts. He trained in Emergency Medicine at Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
