Coosa Valley Medical Center Emergency Department
Sylacauga, Alabama
The Emergency Department at Coosa Valley Medical Center is located in Sylacauga, AL in Talladega County, 40 miles southeast of Birmingham. CVMC is especially proud of its recently opened Ambulatory Care Center. This $11 million expansion tripled the size of the emergency room, enlarged and improved admitting facilities, and enhanced the outpatient pre-admission testing areas and operating areas.
The leadership at CVMC has put the necessary resources into turning the Emergency Department into state-of-the-art facility. Now they have demonstrated their commitment to great patient care and customer service by bringing Pegasus Emergency Group on board. Starting November 2009 Pegasus Emergency Group began providing physician coverage 24-hours a day.
All of the staff of experienced professionals are trained and certified to deal with any and all emergency situations. With such certifications as Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support, and Trauma Nurse Core Certification, nurses in the CVMC Emergency Department posses the most current and accurate knowledge to help you in your moment of need. Illness or injury can affect anyone with little or no warning. If it strikes you, do not hesitate to call on us. We are here 24-hours a day to serve you.
