Medical Center Enterprise Emergency Department

Enterprise, Alabama

The Emergency Department at Medical Center Enterprise serves a population of close to 50,000 in the town of Enterprise, nearby Fort Rucker, and surrounding Coffee County.

Founded in 1905, Medical Center Enterprise began as a 10-bed hospital staffed by one physician. Today, we are a modern 131-bed acute-care facility staffed by a team of more than 450 including 50 independent physicians. Medical Center Enterprise was one of the first hospitals in the region with breast MRI capability. The latest addition in advanced technology is the new Full Field Digital Mammography Unit.

The MCE leadership demonstrated their commitment to top quality patient care and customer service by bringing Pegasus Emergency Group on board starting July 2010. Pegasus Emergency Physicians staff the department 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We are backed by a team of surgical and specialty physicians who are on call around the clock. Our entire staff of Emergency Department nurses are registered nurses with specialized emergency care training.
