Our Medical Directors are all board-certified, residency-trained Emergency Physicians. Once in a leadership position at one of our Emergency Departments, our Medical Directors and Assistant Medical Directors have been committed long-term, and happy to stay on the job and with Pegasus – no exceptions.

Once taking leadership with a new Pegasus contract, new Medical Directors will be involved in recruiting other talented Emergency Medicine specialists to join the team. With a true Democratic ownership track, transparent leadership and genuine profit-sharing, finding other talented and committed doctors is rarely difficult.
Pegasus methodologies will be used to analyze on-site problems, and new systems implemented for any necessary improvements. Standards and expectations are clearly articulated, and Pegasus managers, all experienced ED Medical Directors in their own right, will work side-by-side with you to get the ED on the right track.
